Pastor Japheth Joseph, the lead Pastor of the Pistis Place, Uyo was born on the 3rd of March to Pastor and Pastor Mrs Gabriel Joseph and he is the first child of a family of three children.

Pastor Japheth Jospeh holds a Bachelor degree in History and International relations, from University of Uyo, a diploma in communication arts alongside a Masters degree from the Nigerian defence academy, Kaduna.

Pastor Japheth Jospeh had been the president of Joint Campus Fellowship and the visioner behind Passion for souls Outreach, a campus fellowship dedicated to raising young firebrands that stood out in purity and power.

While he was was serving as a youth Corp member in Kebbi State, he received an instruction from God to shut down the fellowship and wait upon him for 5 years, for a new assignment which eventually materialised into the Pistis Place today, that started in March, 2017.

The Pistis place is a mandate set by God to birth convictions in the heart of men in an atmosphere of worship and love.

Pastor Japheth Joseph, Shepherds the members of church with a high level of commitment and is dedicated to raising people who are taught accurate doctrine, demonstrating the power of the Holy Ghost whilst maintaining a high level of conviction.

In addition to shepherding the Pistis Place flock, he is an instructor at the Grace Family School of Holy Spirit, Uyo and also a lecturer with the Department of History and International Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo where he is currently rounding up his PhD program as well.

He is married to his Wealthy place, Mrs Grace Japheth and they are blessed with two beautiful children; Ediomo & Edima.
