Papa has been an integral part of my growth in every area of life, spiritually, academically, emotionally, and even in relationships. God truly used him as a father and covering over me. He is someone who has disciplined me with love, corrected me with truth, and guided me with wisdom. I'm grateful to have someone whose presence or even absence speaks loudly enough to halt me from taking wrong decisions. Before now, I could move, act, or do anything I wanted without accountability. This I am grateful. When I returned from service with no substantial income, Papa personally ensured I did not lack. For six months, every two weeks, he credited my account. Not once did he make me feel like a burden. That season healed me, strengthened me, and reminded me of God’s faithfulness. Papa also saved me from decisions that could have destroyed my destiny. I used to receive advances (money) from married men, and because I wasn’t physically involved with them, I didn’t see the danger. One day, Papa called and said, ‘You are special to God… stay alert.’ That single conversation jolted me awake. From that day, I began confiding in him whenever such advances came. Over time, I found the boldness to say no to the attention, the offers, and even the money I used to think I needed. His home has also been a blessing, his wife and children have poured into my life in ways I cannot fully describe. I won’t even start listing the materials, the books, the teachings, the videos, and the kingdom projects like Shop for Free that he exposed me to. One thing is clear: Papa has been God’s gift to my life. His covering, love, generosity, discipline, and leadership have shaped me into a better version of myself, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
